Overview:
Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC (Cornerstone) teamed with D3 Air and Space Operations to support Headquarters Space Force with a highly skilled Foreign Space / Counterspace Intelligence Analyst to support the Director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) for the United States Space Force (USSF). This position will play a critical role in delivering authoritative analysis and comprehensive insights on foreign space and counterspace capabilities—particularly those of the People’s Republic of China (PRC)—to senior USSF leaders and other key decision-makers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct Research and Produce Expert Analysis:
Perform in-depth research, propose analytic topics, and develop authoritative intelligence products on foreign space and counterspace capabilities. Ensure products provide USSF leadership with timely, actionable insight into threats and opportunities within the space domain.

Synthesize All-Source Intelligence:
Fuse multiple intelligence sources into concise, impactful assessments that adhere to established Intelligence Community (IC) and USSF/S2 standards and tradecraft. Ensure analytic rigor and relevance to ongoing strategic priorities.

Deliver high-level briefings to USSF senior leaders, Space Staff members, and other DoD or interagency stakeholders. Communicate complex intelligence findings clearly, accurately, and with professional confidence.
Assess Space Capabilities and Emerging Technologies:
Analyze global developments in space and counterspace capabilities—including emerging technologies, operational trends, and doctrinal shifts. Develop forecasts and recommendations that inform USSF strategic planning and policy.

Qualifications:
Direct experience supporting USSF, Air Force, or related Intelligence Community organizations.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10–15 years of relevant experience within the space or counterspace community as an active-duty service member, government civilian, or contractor.

Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following fields: Operations, Engineering, Scientific Research, Analysis, Policy, or Technical Writing.
Strong understanding of PRC and Russian space and counterspace programs.
Minimum of three years’ experience briefing senior DoD or comparable leadership.
Minimum of three years’ experience producing expert-level analytic products focused on foreign space and counterspace capabilities, with emphasis on PRC.
Minimum of three years’ experience conducting all-source intelligence fusion in accordance with established IC methodologies.

Compensation: $180,000.00 per year
